Outage on SMW3

Feb 22nd, 2006 witnessed an outage of 12 hours (from around 8 in the morning till the evening) due to an optical fiber cut somewhere within Karachi.Pakistan Internet Exchange shifted its traffic to other providers that had their circuits terminating via the SMW4 undersea optical fiber cable - thus saving the masses from a complete blackout.
